no don--it didn't come across as racist. one of my friends was trying to set me up with a korean girl. my friend described me to this girl, saying i was this and that, and then she noted I was korean, and a look of disgust apparently came across her face. i know several people like this. but i say to each their own. i'm not attracted to people who have such biases anyways.
consolemaster: i am asian too, and i'm 5'6". For the record, my last relationship was with a caucasian woman, but that doesn't negate the validity of ChrisJericho's (the original poster's) concern, any more than your height negates the fact that asians tend to be shorter than caucasians. as of 1996, the average height of adult (18-30) japanese males is about 10 cm less than that of american males. ergo, asian men tend to be shorter than caucasian men.
