Ok, I'm assuming you got the firmware from here:

There's a link on that page to download the manual as well as the firmware. I think , before you do anything else, you should download that manual and read through it to see how to upgrade the firmware.
Then, follow the instructions and do the upgrade, if necessary ( you should be able to get the current firmware version from the system).
