It's simple really. Everyone hates our government and pop culture. People from the US probably hate it more than you.
If this was all I knew about the US I would hate everyone in it. All we ever see from arab countries is terrorists, dictators, and crazy bastards running in a circle around a giant stone. A lot of people in the country make fun of them, and if it wasn't for the whole racism stigma in the US we would make fun of them all the time.
