My roommate had a penis pump. It was a manual and the walls were pretty thin so every other day he'd disappear and I'd hear a bicycle pump in the other room.
He said it seemed like it was working at first, but it never lasted. He abused the product horribly though; A penis just isn't supposed to abused like that day in and day out; I think his pecker was retreating because it was scared.
