impulse03, you may want to post that to a different thread, as it could derail the discussion here, but would ceratinly bring lots of advice on its own.
I think twistedmosaic had it right. It really depends on what you and you're partner are trying to do. If we're wanting to play around one night (while the kids are sleeping), using lots of positions, not in one for more than 5-10 minutes, we could go on for a couple of hours that way, if we wanted to. Normally, its a nice friendly love making session and not a sexathon, so we tend to go for about 30 minutes. First, I go down on her, typically to orgasm, then I get to choose my preferred position for her for cumming. :-) Usually it takes me 10-20 minutes because I enjoy the feeling of getting to the cumming part just as much as the actual cumming action. Because, of course, after that its 'silent flacidity' (to misquote an early 90's Queensryche song).
