I don't think a film can be "overrated" unless it's excessively popular for no credible reason. So StarWars is qualified to be overrated. Same with Titanic and the Godfather films. They are two of the most popular films (or series of films) of all time. However, a film like Kill Bill cannot be rightly called the most overrated film of all time because it is not one of the most popular films of all time. They may be overrated among friends and people that you've spoken to, but I think that hardly qualifies as "most overrated of all time."
