I've noticed lately that the mainstream rap can be compared to the boy bands of several years ago. Mainstream rap dominates TRL and 12 year old girls love it. So I hope it goes away. That's being said, listen to more Eminem, Aesop Rock, Blackalicious...don't just listen to what MTV tells you to.
