You can do your assignments now or you can do them again next semester/year.
When I get really distracted while studying, I find it is best for me to reach around to the back of my computer, grab the phone/ethernet cord, and pull it out. The incentive of getting to plug it back in as soon as I finish what I need to get done usually lights a bit of a fire under my ass.
