Okay I'll address your commentary...
The first part of your arguement is easy to refute. The point of playing the game is to have fun. If using a maphack ruins a game for you, then dont use it. As for me, I find the game enhanced by using one.
As for playing other games - I do so quite a bit.
On the moral side of this: I would not use a hack that affects the play of others. If I choose to employ one, it would be alone and not one that puts undue strain on the network (causing lag).
The last part of your response is quite valid however and I am aware of the risk. Account cancellation or CD Key invalidation are a concern but I feel they are worth the risk for an old game I have played for years but may be ready to discard anyway.
