Hmm, I never said people who wear visors were retards, but I can see how that extrapolation could be made from my statement...
Yeah I agree a different word should be used... Spur of the moment.
I don't think by any stretch that visors would prevent freak accidents, because there is always a margin of error... however I do believe that it would cut down on the accidents by a great portion.
And I don't think that allowing them to make their own decision simply because they are "grown men" is sufficient... These organizations have an investment in these players, and it is in their best interest to protect them the best way possible.
