The most famous ghost in Manhattan, Kansas is that of Nick-- a football player that died in the 50's at k-state. The legend is that his neck was broken during a game, and he was taken to what was then the cafeteria so they could lay him out on one of the tables. His parents died in a car crash on the way there, and Nick's ghost continues to haunt the cafeteria (which is currently the Purple Masque Theater) where he died, waiting for his parents to arrive. A quick google search turned up a few articles on Nick as well as a few other fraternity ghosts at K-state, the best of which seems to be: http://www.kstatecollegian.com/ISSUE...host-nate.html
