hehe, i'm confused if you quoted me cause you're agreeing or disagreeing. it's sunday night and I'm not firing on all cylinders hehe.

by software, it's just the graphic drivers for the vid card. you have to have the computer shut down when you connect the output of the card to your tv input, otherwise you'll have to reboot for the computer to see it..

monitor 1 should be your computer monitor,

monitor 2 should be your tv, at 640x480

Then with nvidia cards, you have to turn on clone display...

and finally, set your 2nd monitor to be your full screen device.
