Most of McCain's political positions, I'm against. Yet I'm absolutely sure that he's a man of bravery, integrity, and intelligence. If he were president, he'd definitely try to do the right thing by the country. And if he turned out to be wrong about some things (and I think he is) he'd be big enought to admit it if proven wrong, and change directions as needed.
While Bush and McCain seem to be similar on many ideological issues, we'd be in a much different place right now if McCain was president. It's not just about the ideology, it's about the quality of the man.
