A rap song with a single, well constructed idea?
"Lose Yourself" by Eminem.
"Stan" by Eminem.
Two fantastic songs that illustrate a very specific story. "Lose Yourself" is about what it's like to perform on stage for the first time. "Stan" is about an obsessed fan. Both are extremely well written, well conceived, and well produced.
