It's funny, because 5 years ago, if you asked me if I thought McCain would be a good president or if he could even be considered as someone qualified to be President, I would have laughed in your face.
McCain is one of my Senators, and I have met him and worked with him on issues. He has not always been such a "straight-shooter" and he has a very nasty temper. However, over the past few years he really has come into his own. He has become an independent thinker and is really becoming a statesman, much like the man who's seat he took - Barry Goldwater.
