When I get depressed, or simply down, I have two spots I like to go, one is about three miles up this canyon, and is on top of this very large rock overlooking the creek with a stream flowing down below.
The other is a beautiful ledge in Garden of the Gods Park that looks towards Pikes Peak. Just going to these places, and giving myself time to be alone and think without any distractions helps a lot.
