Religious symbols and fashion just don't mix, imho -- no matter the intent.
(BTW, teachers are not suppose to wear crosses to school as that could offend a student. Although I'm not Christian, I think this is interesting. What is the difference between that and wearing a Buddah suit? Beaches are public, are they not?)
