I think a buddhist, particularly a devout buddhist, would be content with anything that could potentially turn one persons head towards finding the Four Noble Truths.

Ripples of cause and effect, and all that, old beans.

This got me:

Quote:
Displaying the images of the Buddha and Bodhisattvas on the swim suite currently markets through Victoria Secret Catalog is an appalling and serious insult to all Buddhism believers, not just in America, but also to over 500 hundred million Buddhists around the world.
Buddhists, in their greater mass and theory, do not hold BELIEFS - which are not subject to change as opposed to ideas, which are flexible - and therefore cannot be said to be BELIEVERS in the same way as a person who believes in the teachings of Christ or the strictures laid down by the prophet Mohammed.

Quote:
”Believe nothing, no matter where you read it or who has said it, not even if I have said it, unless it agrees with your own reason and your own common sense. - Buddha”
I'm really confused by this reaction.
