I think if YOU are comfortable with it, there is no reason why you shouldn't.
I have had tons of fun and pleasure before having phone sex with a couple of men I have dated. It is a personal pleasure that we endulged in when we were apart for any reason.
However, I am certain I wouldn't be able to do it with a stranger. I am not one to "fake it" and I wouldn't be able to be convincing enough for them to get their money's worth.
