That said, I grew up on a farm/ranch, and I wasn't ever strong enough to cowtip but my older brothers used to push over horses/cows all the time. They'd either be ultra-mega pissed off, get up and chase you around, or look at you like "Hey. That wasn't nice." and fall asleep on the ground.
