Out of respect for HalX, I'm not going to upload photos of every flower in my magnificent garden. Every Southern gentleman should have an upscale knowledge of flowers, and the garden my wife and I have created is our pride and joy.
We have four basic areas of enjoyment:
1) Something is blooming every month out of the year.
2) Something fragrant is blooming every season.
3) Butterflies love our garden.
4) Native 19th Century Southern flowers are featured.
Many of these areas overlap, obviously, but here is a teeny-tiny smidgeon of a partial list of our very favorites from our yard (leaving out the many multiple varieties we have of several of these).
Native azalea
Daylily
Grancey graybeard
Tea olive
Rose
Peony
Iris
Spirea
Eleagnus
Hosta
Verbena
Viburnum
Amaryllis
Mock Orange
Pussy Willow
Forsythia
Lorapelatum
Hyacinth
Dogwood
Autumn sage
Yoshino
Speedwell
Dianthus
Dahlia
Althea
Magnolia
Crabapple
Peach
Fig

Lady Banks Rose
Oh good grief, I could go on all day. If anybody ever referred to one of our babies as "just plants," my wife would likely hit them.
