Well, the hives continued a solid week after I was given prescription to it, and they occured at 5 different places. In other words, it was impossible to pinpoint a specific allergic reaction that was causing it. I went back to the infirmary last Monday, and he was amazed that hte Benadryl pills didn't work. I got yet another prescription. He described this one as "5 times stronger than Benadryl." Well, I've been taking it for a few days, and the hives are gone! I'm worried about two things, though:
Are they gone? If I stop taking this medicine, are they going to come back?
And secondly, what the hell caused this!? The doctor said it was NOT an allergic reaction since the Benadryl didn't work.
Oh well, at least they're temporarily gone at minimum.
