Maze
~Maze~
Screaming to escape this empty madness,
the sound echoes in the hollow chambers of the soul.
Internal daggers pierce the core,
hidden from view by the survivors mask.
Through the veins, the blood runs cold,
a disturbing numbness ensues.
Grasping with tattered claws, desperate to stop the descent,
gouges left behind, raw and exposed.
Tightened with fear, stumbling and lost,
searching a way out of this mindless maze.
Where is the door? I want out.
