a close friend of mine had a beautiful baby boy recently and i've been considering the importance of breast-feeding ever since.
i had no idea about how this may be a traumatic experience for the mother.
i guess i really just had no idea.
like Astrocloud, i had a sense that this may in fact be a sexual (and for the child a somewhat Oedipus related) experience, but you have honestly opened my eyes.
