The EXACT same thing happened to me once. Except it wasn't in the afternoon..

There was a lot of drinking that had gone on throughout the day and night which lead to him passing out, which is a regular thing when he drinks apparently. I didn't take it to heart. I was a bit annoyed, but I got over it. I resisted the urge to smack him awake though

We didn't discuss it the next morning. As you said, no harm no foul. I didn't feel like having some weird conversation about it.

We did talk about it a few months later though. I was joking around and said something like "Yeah, remember that time you fell asleep on me, you jerk?" I guess that next morning when he woke up (hungover) he tried to remember what happened the night before, and once he realized what was going on when he fell asleep he was pretty mortified. So he didn't bring it up then. He did apoligize though, with the standard "it wasn't you, it was me."
