I don't think it matters if the CBC has been playing Leafs games a long time, the fact that it's funded by public dollars (taxes) means it should be unbiased. TSN is private and they can support whatever team they like.
I agree with you about idiot annoucers, watch a FOX sports broadcast and you'll see plenty of em.
