Never. I hardly ever type out "lol" anymore. It kind of annoys me now to a certian extent. I tend to use "lmao" more, but even then not so much so. I'm with you on this one. I very rarely use LOL or any form of it, especially if i'm not actually laughing out loud. I find it especially annoying when it is over used.
I remember looking back at some old IRC chat logs from "back in the day" and wonder why anyone would bother to carry on a conversation with me. I was also like 13 or 14 at the time, so I'm sure that had a lot to do with it.
