for gaming.. CRT's are the better choice.. unless you wanna drop some money on a good LCD.. a friend of mine has a 19" Samsung 191t and he games on it all the time.. and the picture is great.. i have a 19" samsun 955df CRT.. and its been great for all the games that i play

basically what you're looking for is HIGH refresh rates.. the higher the better because theres less strain on your eyes
