I've never actually counted either, but I know I like it when it happens. 
If I had to guess, I'd say its in the 8-10 range.
And don't feel bad that it was through masturbation, an orgasm is equally as good no matter how it comes about. And being able to pleasure yourself is quite a valuable skill.
