All of my activity was before AIDS really became a problem and before my marriage. I was well into my 50s when I stopped counting. Experience with different people is overrated based on my experience now, but at the time it seemed like the thing to do. I had trouble relating to women to beyond the first few dates. Sex would happen, and I just didn't know how to deal with a longer-term relationship. Some girls I had sex with didn't want a relationship either. The 80s were a bit different in that regard. I don't know about the 90s since I was dating or married to my wife the whole time.
