I know this is going to get the boos, but Blair Witch had me jumpy for a few weeks after. Of course, I had to walk down a wooded, unlit street at 5:00 AM every weekeday those weeks, but it was still scary.
It was pretty effective when I was younger.
But I agree with Stompy about Silent Hill. 3 was pretty tough to even watch my roommate play in the nighttime hours.
