Overrated - not sure, don't really feel "qualified" to make that call; but I do find the whole Kurt Cobain thing annoying, so I'll go with him.
Underrated - I always feel K.K. Downing and especially Glenn Tipton of Judas Priest never get much credit. Best guitar duo in metal IMO.
