If we migrate to version 3 and lose everything, the veteran members won't be able to tell the newbies to search instead of posting. That would disrupt the entire class structure of the TFP, and soon it will go the way of the dinosaurs.

Seriously though, the obvious ideal option would be to upgrade, but have all of the threads remain in place. Since that's not possible, I think we should keep TFP the way it is.

Oh, and if everything is resetted, user name jacking is sure to ensue. Nobody wants that, right?
