hehe, good old catholics. i know, for me, i told my mom that my period was screwy and that i wanted to regulate it with the pill (and i believe that the patch would work in a similar way). and i mean my period was screwy but you could tell your mom that anyways if you wanted to make something up. and that way she knows you're on the pill, and wouldn't know for sure whether you're having sex. also, i found with my mom, that it somewhat raised her suspisions, but just to this good place where she at least knows now i think that there's a possibility that i might be having sex. good luck.
