A few things.
Firstly, as a parent of a former colicky baby, it takes about a week to clear out all the old formula. so your looking at an improvement shortly.
Secondly, if this works don't even think about switching him back until after four months of age. I tried this with several nights worth of regret.
Also...Try to hit your pediatrician up for samples of the Nutramigen. Even a brief respite from the cost is worth it. I think it was close to two hundred a month to feed my little guy.
My pediatrician also recommended Carnations Good Start as a follow up formula. It's funny, I went from the most expensive to the least expensive in six month's time. The doc said it's the most gentle "regular" formula they make.
I wish you luck...and enjoy these times, they grow up so damned fast!
