Well, although I agree that the older Ferraris are more artisticly styled overall, the 308 series always seemed so common and un-exotic to me, sort of the Lamborghini Jalpa of the Ferrari line. I know it is still a Ferrari and all that and of course I wouldn't mind taking a turn through some twisties with it it's just that If I can think about affording one (you can easily get one for $20-30k) how exotic can they be? I also know that they got better as they went along, the GTB was pretty nice and the 328's were even nicer, it's just that their contemporary stablemates the 512BB and the Testarossa were so much more exotic (IMHO). Don't get me started on the Mondial btw, that thing's just ugly. I'm glad so many out there appreciate the classics, but if I'm going to dream, I'm going to dream BIG.
