Sounds like it! Nothing against your wife, but does she want a safe car for your family, or does she want the status symbol?
If she's looking for a safe SUV type car, take a look at the Honda CRV. My sister has one and it drives very similar to my Civic. Which is not like a truck at all....
But I'm guessing if she doesn't want a minivan she won't want a Honda...
