know anything about IRC
I been a DALnet user for many years (i frequent efnet on occaision) however just always been partial to DAL for some reason or another. Well just 2 days ago after no problems at all I come home to find that mIRC has crashed on me (I use a custom script but I will just say mIRC) and i restart it only to get an AKilled message upon joining any server on the DAL network. I trie sending a very cordial well thought out and stated mail containing ALL info they asked for desribing anything I could to help them.
my Akill is for having a compromised host, I am very vigilant about my virus updates/scans along with spywar adware etc. Many times have I ran scans and all have been clean, also the script like I said is an older version however been in use for MANY hours a month for quite a few years I doubt it is something in there that caused me to get the Akill.
my main question is does anyone have more info on this and how/why it could have happened since I have gotten 0 help from the DAL Kline team on it.
