Kordell actually said that getting back with Mike Mularkey would be a "no-brainer".
Any coach in the league would have to have "no-brain" to let him start.
As a Steeler fan I watched him closely, and I can tell you that this guy has absolutely no field vision. He chooses who he will throw to before the play, and if his man isn't open he runs with it. He absolutely cannot read defenses either. I know Pee-Wee QBs with a greater understanding of defensive schemes.
Don't get me wrong, he's a great athlete, but QB is one position where you need a little bit more than that to succeed.
