well it all comes down to money, unfortunately, I guess. It may not be worth it to get it 90 miles to your house. Is it in decent shape? How much were you planning on doing anyway? If you were planning a total renovation with some extras added on, and the car is in need of it, you could figure the tow into the total cost and not feel as bad about it. 144's were common and solid. They were the type of car Volvo built their reputation on. If you finish a complete resto. on that car you would have a fun, nice car, but it would not be worth much or impress many, save for a few enthusiasts. Check into tow dollies @ U-haul, it would be a fairly inexpensive way to get it to your house. (Then you can think about dropping a used B230 engine in or something fun like that) And hey, if you don't end up with it, at least you tried.
