IMO Californication was the biggest piece of crap ever written. Lots of people like it, I can't stand it. To me, they've lost all of their edge and just write melodramatic garbage these days.
Don't listen to me though, I think St. Anger is a good album and the trash can snare drum doesn't bother me. I also liked Load and Reload...
