Anyway, from Englewood, you are a short trip to either Manasota or Boca Grande (Boca Grande is my all time favorite beach area). It is all small town around there and the traffic is pretty much a breeze. You are within an hour of both Sarasota and Ft. Myers, too. Both areas have interesting places to explore.
Good luck on a decent airfare. I would think the rates will get much better <I> after </I> Easter, as that is when the snowbirds have pretty much all migrated back north.
