Trial and error, I'm afraid. On a few of the levels, I've found it's not necessarily to your benefit to have your grenade power maxed out. You can get a lot more control if you reduce the grenades a touch and centre them under the car. But sorry I can't offer any specific tips... I doubt I could go back and repeat what I did...
