I live with someone i met through the internet. I could not imagine myself being happier, and I'm sure i'll spend the rest of my life with him.
As well as posting on the TFP, i have my own forum as well as posting at others that i have made many friends from. We have meets a few times a year in big cities (toronto, NYC etc) where we all get together and shoot the shit. I've made VERY good friends this way that i indend to keep. I've met people that are mirror images of myself online.
We're all here for moslty the same reasons, might aswell make friends
