It had been snowing, really bad, and my friend was driving. In order to get to his house you have to folow a road around the edge of a very steep hill.
Well, like I said it had been snowing really bad. And as he tapped the brakes it did nothing. The first thing I said was something like "shouldn't you be slowing down some?" I was trying not to be a back seat driver.
"I am." he told me, and a moment later the car slid into the other lane and into the guard rail. Needless to say we were both freaking out.
Finally his car got traction and we slowed to a stop, we both got out of the car and checked it out. We were both very lucky there was no one coming in the other lane.
It was freaky, and I wouldn't mind doing it again if it weren't for the fact there was an almost dead drop on the other side of the guard rail....
