I love all animals, and I'd be happy with any pet really. But in the cats vs. dogs argument, I have to go with cats. I've had my cat for about 8 years now and I love her to death.
For whatever reason, I've always liked cats better than dogs. Of course, I have nothing against dogs though, and I'd be happy to have one, as long as I can have a cat too.
