I've been there a few times. Had surgery that I was told would either kill me or leave me a quadriplegic. Spent a month in intensive care and was told that there really wasn't anything they could do that was likely to keep me alive.

Skettios, coming close to dying tends to change your perspective on a lot of things. And I'm glad to hear that you're okay after that.
