I would only be unhappy if I were wanting/expecting to participate and then she said no. But that would be more of a denial issue than an issue with her flying solo. If I'm working late (even though I work from home) or am for some reason unavailable... more power to her. I'll happily do anything I can to make her solo flight more enjoyable.
