One thing I've found with Ad-Aware is that you need the latest build. Every month or two I go back and download the latest and install over the old one. The current build is 161. Anything older will miss a lot of stuff. Also: I recommend doing a custom scan, and checking every red box under every heading. The other day I found over 1500 adware files on a customer's computer. After rebooting, ran Ad-Aware again and found another 200+. Her P4 2gihz computer with 500 mb's RAM was running like a 386 when I walked in. She had no idea.
