Yawn. Not an issue as pointed out by Harmless Rabbit. It's been going on a long time since news outlets can use these things as fillers and they don't need to do much work to them to make them airable. The alternative would be press releases and such which the news programs would then have to get a reporter to talk about, script the message, shoot the footage, etc.
